School Rules & Regulations

1. Enrollment in Bishnupur Public School – High (H.S.) implies the willingness of students, parents, and guardians to comply with and abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
2. Any act of indiscipline, insubordination, interference in administration, disrespect to any teacher, religion, or community shall not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion.
3. Parents must ensure punctual attendance and safe collection of their children from school. Identity cards must be shown when taking a child home. These rules are vital for student safety and school discipline.
4. Parents or guardians are not allowed to meet children or teachers during school hours without permission from the Head Master / Education Supervisor.
5. Students must wear neat and clean school uniforms. Only a wristwatch or small earrings may be worn as jewelry.
6. No pupil may leave the school premises without permission from the Head Master.
7. Progress reports must be signed and returned promptly. Promotion is based on year-long performance; the school’s decision is final.
8. Irregular attendance can lead to expulsion.
9. No leave will be granted without a written application. Late arrivals or unforeseen absences must be noted in the School Diary.
10. Fees must be paid by the 20th of every month. A late fee of ₹25/- applies until the last working day of the month. Non-payment may result in removal from the register and re-admission requirements. Before Summer and Puja vacations, two months’ fees must be paid in advance.
11. Examination results will be withheld if dues are unpaid.
12. The school authority’s decision on admission is final. Admission fees are non-refundable.
13. Students are responsible for their belongings. Items should be labeled; valuables should not be brought to school.
14. Attendance in drills, games, and school activities is compulsory.
15. Any damage to school property must be repaired by the offender.
16. Personal gifts to staff are not allowed. On birthdays, only sweets may be distributed.
17. Bicycles must be properly locked in the designated area.
18. All correspondence must be addressed to the Head Master.
19. Class monitors maintain discipline in a teacher’s absence; students must cooperate.
20. Students must walk in silence when moving between classes.
21. No pupil may leave class without the teacher’s permission.
22. Students should not loiter or disturb other classes.
23. Free periods should be spent in the library.
24. Students must maintain personal cleanliness and keep their belongings, classroom, and school clean.
25. English should be spoken during school hours.
26. Silence and discipline must be maintained in the library, computer room, and science lab.
27. The school is not responsible for accidents during school hours or activities, though every care is taken. First aid will be provided, and parents will be informed.
28. All students must attend on the first day after vacations as per the holiday list in the School Diary.
29. An annual Parent-Teacher Meeting will be held. Parents may meet teachers at other times with prior permission from the Head Master.
30. The school is not responsible for students once they are handed over to a guardian or escort with the identity card.
31. All assignments, homework, and projects must be submitted on time.
32. Promotion, conduct certificates, and other academic decisions are at the discretion of the Head Master.
